In May 1977, Consumer’s Federal Credit Union started with a small office in the Rosebud Farmer’s Union building, serving a handful of local individuals. From the beginning, the credit union was founded on the principles of community, trust, and service. Over the next two decades, we expanded and strengthened our offerings, becoming a central part of our members’ financial lives.

In October 2000, we broke ground at our current location on Highway 18, allowing us to serve a growing membership. That same year, we also became a Community Chartered Credit Union, allowing us to expand our reach and support even more people in our community. Since our inception, our assets have grown exponentially— from less than $200,000 in 1987 to over $18 million today, reflecting both our growth and our continued commitment to serving our members.
